Cecelia Shroyer

Cecelia Shroyer is currently an intern completing her master’s in clinical mental health at George Fox University. Cecelia is knowledgeable and experienced in grief and loss, racial trauma, religious trauma, divorce, breakups and modern dating and singlehood. As an Asian American, she understands what it’s like to be a minority in a big city. She has worked with all ages including grieving children at the Dougy Center. She also has a BA in history from Lewis & Clark and historical context is always important in understanding our trauma.

Cecelia uses a person-centered approach which means you are ultimately the expert on your own life along with narrative therapy which helps you tell your story.

For hobbies, Cecelia enjoys live theatre, singing and playing the piano along with journaling and walking her dog.
